Rental fee includes a house cleaning prior to arrival, provision of all linens (bed, bath, and beach), beds made up for your arrival, and a linen laundering service at the close of your stay – no need to end your visit doing the laundry!

Spacious, stylish and lovely custom-built home, pleasant WALK TO SOUTH BEACH, bike/drive to historic Edgartown. Lovely, private setting for an unforgettable island visit. Beautifully furnished & decorated. Meticulously maintained. 3 levels of living space – 2,300 sq feet of bright natural light: spacious living area with cathedral ceiling great room opens to large, fully equipped kitchen & sun filled dining area. 2nd floor overlooks the 1st floor living space. 1st floor great room is designed for relaxing; furnished foremost for comfort, gently cooled by a ceiling fan & softly lit in the evening by track lighting. 3 sliding glass doors open to large south-facing deck, overlooking landscaped lawn & garden. Bedrooms are immaculate & comfortable. Adjacent to Herring Creek Road bike path.

HIGHLIGHTS: walk to beach; views over Katama Plains from 3rd floor balcony; large 1st floor south-facing deck. BED LINENS & (plentiful) TOWELS PROVIDED.

KITCHEN and DINING: Large, fully equipped cook’s kitchen. Dining table seats 6 & extends to accommodate up to 10.

BEDROOMS and BATHS: One queen sized bedroom on first floor, two queen sized bedrooms on second floor, one twin bedroom (two single beds) on third floor, one queen sized sleep sofa on third floor; One full bath (shower) on first floor, two full baths (one shower and one tub/shower combo) on second floor

ENTERTAINMENT: Wall mounted flat screen high definition tv with full cable programming (46″ in great room and 32″ in loft), dvd/vcr player (2); stereo with CD player, iPod docking speaker system

House has a sunroom and outdoor patio with a huge yard and an ocean view. The living room has a fireplace. Little Compton is very quiet and peaceful. The house is on a dead end, single lane road with light traffic for even more quiet. Little Compton is a very safe town off the beaten path with excellent restaurants. There are 2 town beaches – one for dogs. Some PLACES OF INTEREST are the Commons, The Sakonnet Wine Vineyards (daily tours, and tasting), and Newport. Daytrips to Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Block Island are reasonable. The yard is very private behind the house and there is an outdoor shower. There is a patio off the sunroom at the end of the house. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a bunkbed with a queen-size on the bottom and a twin on the top. There are two bathrooms, one with a tub/shower and the other with a shower. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. There is Direct TV and wireless internet.WALKING, BICYCLING, and ROLLER BLADING are a joy on these flat, beautiful roads and paths (bring your own equipment)! There are TENNIS courts in town, near the common which are rarely used and available to summer residents. GOLF is 15 miles away in Portsmouth.
