Month of July offered (or August instead possible) Great for a family of up to 6, not a college crowd as neighborhood is quiet.

Located 1 1/2 miles from two beaches (20 minute walk) and a 5 minute drive to Hyannis Center.

The home has 3 bedrooms (2 with queen beds and one room with a bunk bed with twin on top, double on bottom along with another twin), a large modern kitchen/dining room combo, living room with gas fireplace, and one bathroom. Fenced-in back yard, safe for kids.

The house is 1 1/2 miles from Craigville Beach, one of the largest and most popular on Cape Cod. Craigville Beach is a warm Nantucket Sound beach with miles of sand. You can purchase a beach parking pass that allows you to park your car at all of the town of Barnstable beaches. That includes the amazing Sandy Neck beach with a lighthouse, 9,000-acre preserve with dunes, bird life, marshes, and shellfish (but a bit of a drive at 10 miles). Covell beach, Keys beach, Veterans beach, Fortes (adjoins Kennedy compound), Kalmus beach are all less than 2 miles from the home. Kalmus beach is one of the best northeast beaches for windsurfing.

The kitchen is fully applianced and includes dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, toaster oven, blender, coffemaker, and all requisite pots, pans, dinnerware and flatware. Linen/towels provided.

You can bike to the beach or to Main St – we have a couple of bicycles in the garage for your use and there are numerous bike rental places in Hyannis.

The house is a quick drive (less than 2 miles) to vibrant Main St in Hyannis – home to the Kennedy Museum, numerous restaurants, ice cream parlors, bookshops, boutiques, a carousel, and family amusement centers.

In Hyannis, you can take a ferry to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket, catch a whale-watching cruise out of Barnstable Harbor, a deep sea fishing expedition from Hyannis, take a drive along Old King’s Highway and do a little antiqueing, or play a round of golf at any of the nearby golf courses.

Welcome to the perfect Cape beach house get-away for your family!! Plenty of room, with 3BR and 2BA, and partially finished basement, our house is ideal for walking or biking to any of the Hyannis beaches (the warmest water on the Cape) or take a 15 minute walk to downtown Main Street for your choice of multiple restaurants and stores!!!

Accommodations: Single-Family Home, 3 Bedrooms (one queen, one full, two twins, 2 Full Baths (Sleeps 6)

Our home is located on a little cul-de-sac street off of Sea Street in Hyannis. It includes three bedrooms, two full baths (master bedroom has its own bathroom), a large living room with flat screen tv, a beautiful brand new and fully applianced eat-in kitchen that leads out to a large private deck with gas grill surrounded by conservation, and a large finished basement with ping-pong table and more living space. We also have an enclosed outdoor shower to enjoy after a long day at the beach!

Fresh and clean bed linens will be provided for an extra charge of $75, but feel free to bring your own. Towels, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and other beach games are also provided for fun-in-the-sun! We also have some board games for some indoor family fun! For your convenience, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board are provided. Washer/dryer are also in the home for your use. You also do not need to worry about toilet paper and paper towels. TV’s are also provided in each bedroom; each room is also equipped with brand new ceiling fans. Wireless internet is also available.

Our driveway accommodates up to 3 cars, but if you require more space, parking on the cul-de-sac is public.

Location: No need for your car on this vacation! You are steps away from 3 beautiful beaches, and all there is to see in Hyannis! Downtown Hyannis provides free summer concerts on the Green, the John F. Kennedy Museum, boutiques, fine dining, casual pubs, mini golf, ice cream, art galleries, etc. Downtown Hyannis is also the perfect spot to relax with dinner and drinks after a day at the ocean.

A short walk or bike ride will bring you to the Hyannis Harbor and the Ferries for a day trip to Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard!!! Have lunch at Baxter’s on the Harbor, take a sailboat ride on the Cat Boat or one of the many boat tours the Harbor has to offer, or take a walk on the pier and have one of the best and biggest lobster rolls around at the Raw Bar! End with the Cape’s famous ice cream from Four Seas Ice Cream. The pier also offers many more activities, such as duck tours, a ride on the Pirate Boat if you have little ones, deep sea fishing, whale watches etc.! (Two bikes are provided for your very own exploring adventure – sorry, we do not provide helmets).

The rental period is Saturday to Saturday during high season, shorter and longer rentals possible October through April. Our house is a No Smoking house. Dogs are welcome for a $50 extra charge.

This is a private rental and not through a rental agency. This beautiful upside down design contemporary home offers bright sun filled rooms on a very private wooded lot near South Beach (3/4 mile away). Oak stairway leads to the second level main living area boasting cathedral ceilings cooled by a paddle fan and open to the dining area. Three sliding glass doors open to a large private south facing deck which has a decked stairway to the exciting rooftop widow’s walk with daytime views to the South Beach area and nightly views of the stars. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave and thirty feet of counter space. Also located on this floor is a sky lit den with sofabed & large screen Hi-def flat panel TV with DVD/VCR.as well as a bedroom with 2 kids beds and a half bath. The first floor has four bedrooms. A master with queen size bed and private bath, another with a queen size bed and two bedrooms with full size beds that share an additional full bath. Conveniently located is a separate laundry room with washer & dryer.

Little Compton is very quiet and peaceful. The house is on a dead end, single lane road with light traffic for even more quiet. Little Compton is a very safe town off the beaten path with excellent restaurants. There are 2 town beaches – one for dogs. Some PLACES OF INTEREST are the Commons, The Sakonnet Wine Vineyards (daily tours, and tasting), and Newport. Daytrips to Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Block Island are reasonable.

The yard is very private behind the house and there is an outdoor shower. There is a patio off the sunroom at the end of the house. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a bunkbed with a queen-size on the bottom and a twin on the top. There are two bathrooms, one with a tub/shower and the other with a shower. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. There is Direct TV and wireless internet.

WALKING, BICYCLING, and ROLLER BLADING are a joy on these flat, beautiful roads and paths (bring your own equipment)! There are TENNIS courts in town, near the common which are rarely used and available to summer residents. GOLF is 15 miles away in Portsmouth.
