Our Home is located a short walk from the ferry dock and shopping in Vineyard Haven and provides easy access to all of the Island and it’s many special events and beaches. From our home you can walk to four beaches, one of them a very private not widely known beach and we will share its location with you. The public library is only a three minute walk and has outstanding activities for children all year long. Lake Tashmoo which is open to the ocean, is a beautiful wooded walk or drive down a curvey unpaved road to the Lake for swimming, clamming or fishing and West Chop with it’s historic lighthouse and Tennis club is also a short walk from the house. This 4 bedroom, 2 bath home provides all of the necessary amenities for a memorable and relaxing family vacation for up to 8 people. The house has a spacious floor plan that has been totally updated, which includes a well appointed kitchen that flows into the open sun-drenched dining area that has a cathedral ceiling and is surrounded by windows on three sides. A comfortable family room that is great for relaxing and entertaining, and four extra large bedrooms, complete this home. We offer a fantastic outdoor shower with hot and cold water and a changing area that is totally enclosed for privacy. A peaceful porch with rocking chairs and an island grapevine that you can use for shade and picnic under its beautiful foliage as you grill on the gas grill. The home is very well maintained with many new improvements, and includes the following amenities: gas grill, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, stove, laundry facilities, televisions, cable TV, WIRELESS INTERNET, DVD player, stereo with CD player and telephone. Abutting the State Forest, our three bedroom saltbox is located in a very private area of Dodgers Hole and features very open airy spaces. This is the perfect getaway for a relaxing–leave the worries behind–summer vacation! The dining and living room areas have cathedral ceilings up through the second floor and the skylights above these areas flood the downstairs with natural light. Exposed beams, hardwood floors throughout and ceramic tiling in the kitchen and bathrooms add a special touch to our home. A fully applianced kitchen makes cooking quick and easy. Our downstairs living area has an entertainment cabinet featuring a TV and DVD/VCR combo unit as well as a CD player. One bedroom upstairs also contains a TV and VCR unit. Both entertainment systems are connected to Cable and feature both local and cable network stations.

Enjoy spectacular beaches, biking, rollerblading, hiking, fishing and sailing on the Island of Martha’s Vineyard. Access to all these activities is only minutes from our home. Or just relax at our home. Just imagine…while having morning coffee on our 400 square foot deck you listen to the early morning birds and catch an occasional glimpse of a deer running through the State Forest. After a relaxing breakfast on the deck you load up the car and head for one of the many beautiful Vineyard beaches located nearby. At the end of the day you return to our home and wash the salt and sand off using our outside hot/cold water shower. You then relax on our deck’s patio furniture afterwards and then enjoy an evening meal cooked on our barbecue.

Golf Information: The championship, 18 hole Farm Neck Golf Course is located 3 miles from our home. It is a spectacular sea side course with many challenging holes. The 9 hole Mink Meadows Golf Course is located 6 miles from our home.
