Spring on Martha’s Vineyard —-Charming, bright, very clean house
available March, April, May at this rate only. Nautical style decor. Quiet, nice
neighbors, parking, small yard, washer/dryer in basement, glass slider to
deck. Prefer to rent to a person who will stay at least 2 months.
$800/month plus electricity and oil heat. 1 month refundable
security deposit. No smoking indoors.

1/2 mile walk or bike to Vineyard Haven restaurants, shopping, cinema,
bookstore, Main St. 3/4 mile walk to ferry terminal. No need for a car,
regular bus service in front of property.

This house is known as the Lark Cottage, part of The Bird Houses cottages,
which are rented in spring, summer, fall by the night or week. (The rate in
June becomes $1350/week or $210/night for this house.) It was rented for the
off-season by a single man since November, leaving early to move
into free accommodation provided by his job. So…. March, April, May are
now available.

40 minute ferry ride to the Vineyard from Woods Hole, south of Falmouth, Ma.
Costs $7.50 pp.

Month of July offered (or August instead possible) Great for a family of up to 6, not a college crowd as neighborhood is quiet.

Located 1 1/2 miles from two beaches (20 minute walk) and a 5 minute drive to Hyannis Center.

The home has 3 bedrooms (2 with queen beds and one room with a bunk bed with twin on top, double on bottom along with another twin), a large modern kitchen/dining room combo, living room with gas fireplace, and one bathroom. Fenced-in back yard, safe for kids.

The house is 1 1/2 miles from Craigville Beach, one of the largest and most popular on Cape Cod. Craigville Beach is a warm Nantucket Sound beach with miles of sand. You can purchase a beach parking pass that allows you to park your car at all of the town of Barnstable beaches. That includes the amazing Sandy Neck beach with a lighthouse, 9,000-acre preserve with dunes, bird life, marshes, and shellfish (but a bit of a drive at 10 miles). Covell beach, Keys beach, Veterans beach, Fortes (adjoins Kennedy compound), Kalmus beach are all less than 2 miles from the home. Kalmus beach is one of the best northeast beaches for windsurfing.

The kitchen is fully applianced and includes dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, toaster oven, blender, coffemaker, and all requisite pots, pans, dinnerware and flatware. Linen/towels provided.

You can bike to the beach or to Main St – we have a couple of bicycles in the garage for your use and there are numerous bike rental places in Hyannis.

The house is a quick drive (less than 2 miles) to vibrant Main St in Hyannis – home to the Kennedy Museum, numerous restaurants, ice cream parlors, bookshops, boutiques, a carousel, and family amusement centers.

In Hyannis, you can take a ferry to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket, catch a whale-watching cruise out of Barnstable Harbor, a deep sea fishing expedition from Hyannis, take a drive along Old King’s Highway and do a little antiqueing, or play a round of golf at any of the nearby golf courses.

The house, located on a quiet cul-de-sac, is only minutes from Green Hill Beach (private beach parking included). The large comfortable house has a main-level open floor plan with three bedrooms and a finished basement with a recreation room, a comfortable futon & two additional rooms. The house has two full bathrooms, a living room with a pull-out couch and a gas fireplace, dining room, a fully equipped granite kitchen, washer and dryer and is air conditioned. In addition to the internal amenities, the house has a very large backyard with an outdoor shower, deck, screened-in porch for outdoor dining, an above ground pool, hot-tub, grill, fire-pit, and a beautiful gazebo fronted by a fish pond. There is a playground & public tennis courts within a ½ mile, fine and casual dining and Newport is only 30 minutes away, while ferries to Block Island and Martha’s Vineyard only 25 minutes away.
