Use your vacation with maximum boat time. Dock is on inlet that leads out to Martha’s Vineyard. Main house with three bedrooms and an attached cottage with 1 or 2 bedrooms. Classic Cape Cod House. Great views. Beautiful house and area. Unique rental with main house and attached cottage on large lot with 150 feet of water frontage. Trees and water combine to make it a park like setting.
New 85′ dock has minimum 6 foot water depth at end. Perch Pond has a 4 foot deep channel to Great Pond which has a 10 foot depth to Ocean under one bridge. The dock can accommodate a 24′ boat easily. clearance under the bridge at mean tide is about 11′. No problems with trailers at this house, there are 2 driveways.

The house, located on a quiet cul-de-sac, is only minutes from Green Hill Beach (private beach parking included). The large comfortable house has a main-level open floor plan with three bedrooms and a finished basement with a recreation room, a comfortable futon & two additional rooms. The house has two full bathrooms, a living room with a pull-out couch and a gas fireplace, dining room, a fully equipped granite kitchen, washer and dryer and is air conditioned. In addition to the internal amenities, the house has a very large backyard with an outdoor shower, deck, screened-in porch for outdoor dining, an above ground pool, hot-tub, grill, fire-pit, and a beautiful gazebo fronted by a fish pond. There is a playground & public tennis courts within a ½ mile, fine and casual dining and Newport is only 30 minutes away, while ferries to Block Island and Martha’s Vineyard only 25 minutes away.

Abutting the State Forest, our three bedroom saltbox is located in a very private area of Dodgers Hole and features very open airy spaces. This is the perfect getaway for a relaxing–leave the worries behind–summer vacation! The dining and living room areas have cathedral ceilings up through the second floor and the skylights above these areas flood the downstairs with natural light. Exposed beams, hardwood floors throughout and ceramic tiling in the kitchen and bathrooms add a special touch to our home. A fully applianced kitchen makes cooking quick and easy. Our downstairs living area has an entertainment cabinet featuring a TV and DVD/VCR combo unit as well as a CD player. One bedroom upstairs also contains a TV and VCR unit. Both entertainment systems are connected to Cable and feature both local and cable network stations.

Enjoy spectacular beaches, biking, rollerblading, hiking, fishing and sailing on the Island of Martha’s Vineyard. Access to all these activities is only minutes from our home. Or just relax at our home. Just imagine…while having morning coffee on our 400 square foot deck you listen to the early morning birds and catch an occasional glimpse of a deer running through the State Forest. After a relaxing breakfast on the deck you load up the car and head for one of the many beautiful Vineyard beaches located nearby. At the end of the day you return to our home and wash the salt and sand off using our outside hot/cold water shower. You then relax on our deck’s patio furniture afterwards and then enjoy an evening meal cooked on our barbecue.

Golf Information: The championship, 18 hole Farm Neck Golf Course is located 3 miles from our home. It is a spectacular sea side course with many challenging holes. The 9 hole Mink Meadows Golf Course is located 6 miles from our home.
